We would like to acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land and seas on which we deliver our lifesaving services. We pay our respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
Whilst our fantastic Lifeguards may currently be providing our vigilance on the beaches, your branch volunteers are busy preparing for the upcoming season.

The branch calendar of events including everything from sign-on to Education and Training weekends, to Sports events and our AGM, has been released.  Please mark all these important dates in your diary and start considering how you might like to upskill, learn, train and participate this year.

I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again – we are a passionate bunch of lifesavers here in North Queensland.  Now is the time to start sharing that passion with others – friends, colleagues, teammates and neighbours; people who you think would benefit from, and contribute to, our incredible red and yellow family.  Encourage them to join your club this year, meet new friends and learn what amazing opportunities there are within our movement.

Thank you to all those who continue to work tirelessly behind the scenes for our lifesaving community and of course, keep up the great work to our Branch Youth State Team and those members who are training and preparing for the State and Aussie Championships.

Please stay safe, stay well and I look forward to seeing you on the beach soon.
